Kr-Krr is the duo of Nathalie Forget (Ondes Martenot) and Gilles Aubry (modular synth, Max/MSP) — two artists who’ve spent their careers at the edge of improvisation, electronic music history, and sound art. Forget is one of the most in-demand Ondes Martenot players working today, a regular at the Festival Messiaen au Pays de la Meije and a collaborator with everyone from major orchestras to ErikM, Faust, and Radiohead. Aubry is a sound artist and musician known for reshaping field recordings and member of noise collective Monno with performances at Unsound Rewire, Norient, CTM, and Ultima.
Together they built a live conversation between one of electronic music’s founding instruments and its own digital ghost. Their debut album, Nebulage (Sirr Records, 2026), has been picked up across the ambient and experimental press this year: praised as a fog-bound, multi-layered soundscape, with a closing tribute to Olivier Messiaen singled out as the album’s emotional high point.
This is a set built for listening rooms and late-night stages alike: fully improvised, visually striking, and grounded in real festival experience on both sides of the duo.

Album review excerpts
“On their collaborative album as Kr-Krr, Nathalie Forget and Gilles Aubry set in motion a dialogue between the ages—or rather, different sound technologies. »Nebulage« is based on the interplay between the former’s ondes martenot and the latter’s modular synthesizers. The result is a wonderfully complex, atmospherically rich album.” — Anxious Music Magazine
“Nebulage sounds abstract, atmospheric, and otherworldly, but the music flows organically, moving seamlessly between delicate, enigmatic statis and sudden, kinetic, and spiky eruptions.” — Percorsi Musicali
“de la musique industrielle passée au tamis, décantée pour en dégager le substrat mélodique raffiné, cette efflorescence folle d’ondes fouettant l’air pour disparaître dans des bourdons croisés, courbes, d’une délicatesse supra-humaine.” — Inactuelles
