Parastatal is a research platform for critical sound practice and sound art curation.

We engage with the transformative potential of sound as an artistic and epistemic medium, focusing on how experimental sound practices create new spaces of experience and criticism. Through interviews, curated essays and sound pieces, we explore the intersections of sound with history, technology, memory, and more, uncovering the untold stories and evolving practices that redefine what we hear and how we listen.
